8 Best Chlorine Free Diapers 2022

Most babies will go through at least 8000 diapers that will be in constant contact with their skin before switching to underwear or get potty-trained. Therefore, any harmful chemicals will usually end up in your baby’s system. One such chemical is chlorine.
What is chlorine doing in diapers? The inner part of the diaper is made of SAP and wood pulp. These materials may be bleached with chlorine to whiten and soften them. This produces dioxin that is a known carcinogen.
Dioxin is also known to damage the immune system and interfere with hormonal systems. Chronic exposure has been linked with health problems such as diabetes, learning disabilities, immune system suppression, lung problems, skin disorders, lowered testosterone levels, and more.

Luckily, chlorine-free diapers are out there in the market. We have listed some of the chlorine-free diapers you can find.

Yes! Babies’ health and safety are our priority at Pampers. To keep your baby’s skin healthy, Cruisers 360° locks wetness away from skin up to 12 hours and is hypoallergenic—free of chlorine bleaching, parabens and latex* (*Natural Rubber)

How can you tell the difference between the front and back of a Cruisers 360° Fit diaper?

These are a life saver!!! We use them for my 2 year old so his diaper doesn’t leak at night & they work great! When my new baby was born and was soaking through his diaper, clothes, & swaddle every couple hours, I knew I needed to get some for him as well. The smallest size they come in was a size 3, but I was so desperate for sleep that I gave them a shot! He was probably 11 pounds when I started using them and although they look huge one him, they still work great!!! No leaks, more sleep!!! Yay!! Definitely recommend these!!

I have been using these diapers since my 10 month old was a newborn, I swear by them as they are super absorbent and soft. I try not to wake him up during long naps and when he is sleeping well at night, I can rest assured that with these diapers I can wait until he wakes up on his own and there won’t be any leaking in the meantime. They are worth the extra money opposed to cheaper options but I am coming back to reorder and I see the price has jumped up $30 for the same size/amount of diapers. I hope to see them back between the $50-$60 price range soon.

Hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested. Free from chlorine bleaching, perfumes, lotions, parabens, and phthalates

Diapers at a great value with excellent leakage protection, day or night; Wetness indicator shows when it’s time for a change. Thin design with flexible fit for comfortable movement; Umbilical cord cut-out protects baby’s belly button. Breathable outer cover helps keep baby’s skin dry and healthy

I read many reviews and was hesitant to buy these diapers… and honestly I’m really happy with them. It’s hard to buy chemical free diapers with CLEAN ingredients for an affordable price. I purchased bamboo diapers in the past but couldn’t afford $70 for 200 diapers. These are actually even less expensive then hello bello diapers from WALMART. I paid $25 for 84 or something…. And these certainly compare to them. They are a bit thinner then most high end diapers but they are much more comfortable on my baby.. especially where the diaper strap is. I want to mention they are TRUE TO SIZE, And they do not run small for those who have said that. They actually are a tad bit larger which is very nice. My child is a size 3 and the hello bello 3 is definitely more snug and less room around the strap area. I’m very happy with these and will continue to buy.

Review for ECO BOOM Biodegradable Diapers 100% Eco-Friendly Natural Diaper Size 5 (26lb+) Infant Anti Leak System

These diapers are soft, absorbent and apparently comfortable. They have the same features as most of the big brands. The closures are Velcro rather than tape. There is elastic around the legs with a leak barrier there as well. The yellow line is present that reveals when the diaper is wet.

The padding goes all the way up on the back of the diaper and there is elastic in the front of the waist area. The bamboo liner keeps moisture away from your baby’s bottom.

Overall: diaper does what it is supposed to and is biodegradable.

We gave these a try and they didn’t disappoint! Similar to more eco options like honest and sev. Gen these definitely are gentle and absorb but they do get heavy when soaked so don’t last quite as long as some of the less Eco options. My one request would be offering larger box qty options for a slightly better price as we usually like to but enough for at least a month at a time. Way to go!

Huggies vs Pampers 2022| Which Diaper to Choose?

Sizing labels are available on Huggies and Pampers diapers to indicate when you need to size up.

However, when it comes to extended size, Pampers wins this category. Both brands have parallel sizes that range from newborn (under 10 pounds) to size 6 (35 pounds or more). But Pampers also offers a size 7 (41+ pounds) for bigger toddlers.

The cost of diapers become a significant consideration for new parents. Pampers and Huggies, on the other hand, are nearly identical in price. On Amazon, Pampers diapers cost between $0.25 and $0.35 per diaper, while Huggies diapers cost between $0.20 and $0.30 per diaper.

Go for the Huggies if you still want to save a few cents.

Both have great absorbency. Based on customers’ reviews, their rate for absorbency are quite similar.

Most newborns gain about 3 pounds during the first month and babies born with a higher birth weight tend to skip this diaper size altogether. Therefore, there’s no point stockpiling on size NB.

You can always start small. Try stockpiling no larger than size 1, just in case you don’t like the first brand you try.

Once you get a feel for fit, cost, brand, and size, go ahead and purchase more — up to an entire year’s worth or more of diapers. Keep in mind your own baby’s weight and rate of gain when planning. Never pay full price for diapers unless it’s an emergency (more on saving on diapers below).

Keep in mind that different brands may work better or worse for different babies, so be open to trying a few different diapers before you decide on the right ones for you. Sometimes a diaper that costs a little more is a better fit and works better, making it worth the extra money.

Change your newborn’s diaper every two to three hours, or as needed, according to experts. Because if the diaper isn’t changed frequently, the baby is at risk of developing skin rashes, infections, and a variety of other health problems.

1. Pick Trustable Brands

Make sure you pink a trustable brand.

2. Diaper Features

Make sure your diapers have features that are suitable for your condition. For example; Good Absorbency, Wetness Indicator Lines, Soft and Breathable, Stretchability and Fit.

3. Pick the right size

Avoid loading up on one size because your baby will require bigger-sized diapers every few months.

4. Skin Sensitivity

If your baby has sensitive skin like having rash because of diapers. You must look for hypoallergenic diapers. For example: Huggies Little Snugglers
